Meg Ward is a DJ and producer from Newcastle who has become a talking-point in recent times. That is only going to continue following her recent 12″ for Lobster Theremin’s Distant Horizons series. Connections is a 6-track EP that is not content to limit itself to any one genre. There are elements of house and electro here, breaks mingled with a wider understanding of electronica. The record came out in September but is still available.
