Let’s rewind the tape to April this year. The second album by Texas group Altar of Eden came out on Drunken Sailor. Austin-based Albert Limones (Nosferatu and Institute) started the band in 2020 and released Chimeras himself on tape last year. It followed the debut, also on Sound Grotesca and later pressed on vinyl by Drunken Sailor. The new 6-track mini-LP is dark as a winter night and sounds like it came straight out of 1985.
