Elica Mayres is the new collaborative project of Italian heavy-weights Violet Poison and Nghtly, who should be familiar names to our readers. Elica Mayres released their first album on Raw Culture in April and it consists of 7 tracks of lo-fi “nautical” body music. It’s a pretty heavy mix with undistinguishable vocals, dirty kicks and weird sounds. The titles are in Italian, but I don’t know if they’re actually singing or just vocalising.
