Berlin label Instruments of Discipline recently put out another heavy-hitter – the debut album from Leeds producer Balrog. The Northern Powerhouse is an 8-track cd that is a feast for fans of classic techno. Blending industrial sounds with grooves and vocal samples, Balrog simultaneously takes this opportunity to comment on the political climate in the UK post Brexit.
