The London-based cumbia group Los Bitchos have finally released their long-awaited debut LP, called Let the Festivities Begin!. Unveiled just as restrictions were lifted in Sweden and Denmark, its timing was perfect until the tragic oppression of Ukraine began. The festivities will not begin any time soon, but either way I have been listening a lot to this stunning 11-track album. It’s available from City Slang and includes their previous single “The Link Is About to Die”
