The Pinstripes is a brand new trio from Melbourne playing jangly pop and they recently put out their debut single on the local label Critter Records run by Zak Brown. Following the label’s inaugural release (the Cover Is Blown covers compilation) another great compilation of demos appeared. But “First Tattoo” is the first proper release on the label apart from these and Brown’s own music. It definitely leaves us wanting more from The Pinstripes.
