Georgian artist Shalva Nikvashvili currently has en exhibition at Inkonst in Malmö, Sweden, called შიში – FEAR. As a part of the show Nikvashvili created a unique performance piece called 08.08.08 that took place twice earlier this week. The artist, who is currently based in Belgium, kept the specifics of the performance secret but shared the fact that it would include audience participation.
You can see some images from the performance on the artist’s ig, where he says: “In this performance my audience became victims of occupation, forced to leave their territory and escape from danger.”
