Max Turnbull who has made several records in recent years with this Badge Époque Ensemble has now created a solo record as Badge Epoch. Scroll came out via Telephone Explosion a week ago and is a no-hold-barred double vinyl that includes 20 tracks of mind-bending rhythms that melt in your mind. The single “Consensus Reality” that also featured other members from the group is dance floor frenzy that weaves in and out of time signatures. Many of the other tracks are decidedly looser in structure.
