Everest Magma is an Italian artist who has also recorded exentensively as Rella the Woodcutter. After three albums as Everest Magma on Boring Machines, here is Nuova Abduzione, the first one for Bologna label Maple Death. This latest album, released a few weeks ago, is a curious ambient piece made up of 7 distinct tracks – all recorded using Roland’s SP 404 sampler. There are hints of natural sounds in there, hidden under layers of shimmering static.
