Philanthropist is a DJ and producer based in Lod, Israel who debuted last year with a record called Cloaked on Tel Aviv label Sifon. After appearing on a label compilation from the newly established Sadan Records from the same city, Brutalism has become the label’s fifth release. Sadan was founder by a group of visual artists and musicians, including Request Lorraine. The vision presented on the EP’s 4 tracks is dark and moody, somewhere between electro and IDM. It was released on a 12″ back in March and is still in print.
