L’eau repousse les feux agressifs is the fourth release from new Paris label Mama Told Ya, founded by Anetha. It’s a lavish compilation with 15 tracks spread over four transparent vinyl 12″s, featuring contributions from Croatian Amor & Varg²™ and one of our favourite American producers Isabella (who released the amazing album Melody Depleted on iDEAL last year). Anetha’s own track “Free Britney” is also great. One of the new discoveries I made is Polina Shelkova from St Petersburg, who produces music as Less Distress.
