It’s been about a year since Marguerite Records last dropped a compilation. The Milan-based label have previously worked with artists like Anna Funk Damage, Raw Ambassador and Anatolian Weapons, and with their 10th release they’ve put together a great line-up. The 10 tracks include contributions from Diana Berti, Exhausted Modern and Chupacabras. “Duty-Bound Majority” by Filmmaker is of course a highlight. The track from label heads Davide Pestillo and Codeless (as Bianco Negativo) is also very nice. The biggest surprise comes from Madmoizel, a synth-punk artist from Paris who hasn’t released a record for quite some time.
