Impede

Nopatience seems like one of the few Australian labels releasing music at the moment. Following the Perspex 45, here is the debut tape from Impede – a hardcore group out of Whyalla (about four hours from Adelaide). Impede’s music is dark and fast, including elements of black metal. Just listen to the guitars on opening track and standout “Melissa”. The cassette EP, called Digital Hell, came out in January and consists of five songs about robots and evil computers. Love the artwork here, by Danny Drazetic.
