This has been an incredibly busy year for Penelope’s Fiance out of Greece. Since we last wrote about the dark electro artist he has had a number of new releases, including a full album for Soil. On The Cell With Transparent Walls the early sound of coldwave is explored with some slow and moody pieces. But only last month another EP appeared on the small Athens label Hypermedium. The Cutting Edge of a Knife shows the artist in focused bursts of industrial 80s sounds as well as more experimental injections. It’s something new, and I really like it.
