Fearing

Fearing from Oakland have taken their time finishing up first full-length LP Shadow. Arriving three years post their latest EP, Shadow is again out on Kentucky coldwave label Funeral Party (also home to Australians like Buzz Kull and Death Bells). The two single tracks from the album actually remind me of Pleasure Symbols’ new sound, with chorus-heavy guitars that instantly make you want to listen to Slowdive. “Good Talks” also has received a healthy dose of “Mexican Bandits”-era Felt. The album is out in a month, and thanks to Matt for the tip.
