SUPER-X is a minimal space rock trio that have been around for a few years. Just drums and two guitars. Based in Melbourne, they released a tape a couple of years back. Gigging frequently, I managed to see them twice while I was in town. Here’s one of their songs from their gig at the Retreat a month ago when they played together with Pussy Willow. If you like this you should check out their full set from Cactus Room a few months back. These guys will have you digging out your old Spacemen 3 and Loop records for sure. I hope they get a proper release out soon.
