We saw this band supporting Idiota Civilizzato in Berlin this summer. Now they’ve finally released their first tape as Destinys Chlid, and Bed Bugs is really good. These seven tracks sound quite a lot like New York garage from the 00s, or perhaps even Bleached when they were punk. Their stage performance was quite special, and on “Schüfeli & Wüscherli” they have managed to capture some of that energy. The German language tracks are definitely the best, especially “4 Boys”, which has more of an 80s Xmal Deutschland sound. And yes, they did have bed bugs.
