While the band Moody Beaches were from Melbourne, there’s also a Sydney artist named Moody Beach. Her real name is Melissah Marie and the first new track since her 2017 EP just came out. “Slave” is one of the tracks to be included on the upcoming second EP Mirage on Viscera Arts. This is electronic pop not too unlike that of Exhibitionist, but as Marie says herself, it’s “a collection of all my favourite sounds – pop to shoegaze, flamenco to darkwave”. The EP is out in September.
