Deadbeat Beat is a Detroit trio that includes Alex Glendening, who also plays in Tyvek sometimes. In a couple of months their second album comes out on Crystal Palace and Arrowhawk Records. It’s called How Far, and the band have just shared the first track off it. “You Lift Me Up” comes with this brilliantly unassuming video. If you like long gone groups like caUSE co-MOTION!, this one’s for you. Or if you just thought the drummer in Shop Assistants was pretty cool.
