Ayn Randy recently did their first show in Melbourne, together with Red Red Krovvy and The Shifters. It’s been a couple of years since their first album came out on cassette, but they’ve just returned with an EP recorded for their Australian tour. These six new tracks are completely fresh, recorded just last month back in Wellington. It’s definitely more towards the hardcore end of the spectrum, but it really works. “Black Mould” is my favourite track here, some of the others are just a tad too long. But I would love to see these peeps live.
