Another band that joined Future Suck during their Tote residency was a trio called The Barbs. This Melbourne band haven’t released anything yet, but sound like a mix of The Go-Betweens and The Verlaines. I remember they played this song called “Owe Somebody Else” during their set and there’s a demo of it on their soundcloud. Check it out and before you know it, these guys might be as big as The Goon Sax.
