Vertex is the duo of Belia Winnewisser and Osman.fcy (Fatuma Osman) from Switzerland. They’ve known each other since they were kids (as the cover proves) but recently started recording together. The result of that is the selftitled 12” that came out at the beginning of the year through the Swiss label Light of Other Days. This 5-track EP expands upon Winewisser’s more pop-oriented sound heard on Mirror from last year. In fact, she also released a new single last month, called ”Bubblegum”, which is also worth checking out if you didn’t already hear it on our monthly playlist. On Vertex you get club moments mixed with awkward R&B as well as a Madonna cover.
