Since changing name to Angelz Records, the Italy-based label that gave us the Perreotek compilations has stayed busy as ever before. Their latest release, from June 19, is a digital compilation called Cringemaxxing (”be cringe, be urself”). What’s not to like about this 16-track collection of cringecore, as they call it? With contributions from DJ Ghepard, HKKPTR, So Vital, Overkissed and TTristana this isn’t just your regular compilation – this is techno at its quirkiest, it’s electro house, it’s jersey club, it’s retro and it’s future. Xyae (pictured) from Spain might be my favourite discovery so far.
