Also out on Filmmaker’s label Body Musick this year is the debut from California duo Wound Care. Made up of Felicia Marie and Aldo Giovanni De La Cruz, who you might’ve known as Memory Clap Acid back in the heyday of 2021. With their 6-track EP Existing Without You Hurts Me from January, they create a twisted post-punk/EBM sound with half-spoken, half-sung vocals. Fleshed out with a remix from Ben Chisholm this is one of the best releases from a label that a diverse and incredibly strong catalogue already.
