As Boysnoize rightly point out, Valerie Ace from Berlin has put out six EPs at breakneck speed over the past few years. I think we’ve written about all of them. This new 6-track digital release on Boysnoize is her first of 2025, sadly not available on vinyl as far as I can tell. But Escape the Algorithm is a clever comment on how digital media forces everyone to become ‘instagram DJs’. Still Ace seems to operate more ”In an Ideal World” where quality comes before surface. If fame was measured by skill only, Valerie Ace would be one the biggest names of her generation.
