After an outing as J. Campbell, Jason Campbell is now back as Collector, with a new record on his own Eternal Solitude label. He just played Rebell Yell’s event Our Friends Electric last weekend in Sydney along with a bunch of other great artists. Still based in Newcastle (Mulubinba), he released the 8-track cd Mercury Bath a couple of days before the show. This is the heavy industrial sound – maybe he should call his label Steel City (Non)Dance Discs in the future?
