Two things happened in the past week: playing the Charli XCX album on repeat, and the new single from Naarm-based Clair. Clair Bai reached our ears via her club night Celestia (and the consistently updated playlist) that seamlessly mixes goth, dream pop, techno and j-pop – kind of like kindred spirits in Explity Music. Clair has released a string of self-produced singles over the years (including collaborations with Shushu) but has just announced her first album, along with the single ”Keep Me Steady”.
