Susanne Cleworth latest album as Xuri, Serene Trails, is a great follow-up to Bedlam of Salt from a few years ago. The 7-track cassette came out on Lisbon label Colectivo Casa Amarela in March, and I’ve simply forgotten to write about it. It was partly recorded in Australia and features samples of the native bell bird. Sofie Birch and John Cleworth also appear as guests on the record, despite not being birds.
