Alpha Sect from Greece released a 12” on Veleno Viola last year but otherwise George McCall (the person behind the alias) hasn’t been nearly as prolific as back in 2021. But how he’s back with a 12” on Spanish label Soil. Fragmented Reality gathers 4 new tracks and 3 remixes (a nice one from Raw Ambassador e.g.). Some of them are digital bonus tracks, and I feel like it’s shame all the originals aren’t on the record. We hear a slightly new direction on the vinyl tracks – taking in more of his italo influences.
