The anonymous front of Ostseetraum fits the bleak and mechanical music well. The Liiek side-project from Berlin returns with a new album on Adagio830 and Mangel this month. Definitely not befitting of the summer, Wie Ein Übersäuerter See is a wintery cocktail of synthesizers, weird electronics, sparse guitar and muffled vocals. Across 11 tracks, Ostseetraum brings back the playful experiments of early minimal wave. The artwork was done by Billo.
