V/Z is a new collaborative project between Valentina Magaletti and Zongamin (whose real name is Susumu Mukai), both active in London. Suono Assente is the title of their first album and it came out AD 93 last month. It’s a beautiful record of mostly instrumental and giallo-infused dub. Well actually it’s hard to pin down because it moves so effortlessly in and out of genres. Guest vocalists include Coby Sey and Cathy Lucas (also of Vanishing Twin).
