Rubber Blanket – the latest project of The Intelligence’s Lars Finberg together with Brad Eberhard and Jun Ohnuki of Wounded Lion – are back with their second album. Our Fault is out in a couple of days via Mt.St.Mtn. and follows their three-year-old debut. It’s a playful 10-track album that mixed ideas from Gang of Four and Wire with weird synthesizers. As anything Finberg puts his hand to, it balances between genius and silly but usually lands in the former.
