A record that often ends up in the bag for a DJ set is my copy of Maelstrom & Louisahhh’s 12 on Discos Atonicos. Louisahhh is originally from New York but has been based in Paris for many years. She started making music more than a decade ago and quite quickly teamed up with French producer Maelstrom. After founding the Raar label together, Louisahhh finally released her solo debut album two years ago. Sustained Resistance, released in February is the first full-length from Maelstrom & Louisahhh, and is available from Raar.
