Flagelante is a tiny label split between Portugal and Japan who released a great compilation about a year ago called Atlas of Penance. It included masters of noisy and industrial electro and techno – like Filmmaker and Baroque. For the second volume, which is out in a couple weeks, they’ve pressed a proper 12″ with six tracks. This time they rely on contributions from heavy hitters like Drvg Cvltvre and Kenny Campbell, but also Dutch faves Dim Garden. And behind the name Syndikat Kommando 98 you’ll actually find none other than Cute Heels from Colombia.
