Amsterdam group Ambassade, now with the ‘De’, released their second album via Optimo Music a couple of days ago. With The Fool, the trio takes a new sonic approach with tape loops, found sounds used for percussion and plenty of vocal samples. The results are scattered but also more Ambassade than ever, e.g. on “Verwijder Jezelf”. Some of these tracks got an airing at their Grauzone gig and sounded amazing live.
