Los Angeles-based artist and NTS show host of Kiss Cafe, Piper Durabo, will be releasing her first album as Maraschino in March. The Hollywood Piano LP, with 10 tracks both old and new, is coming out on Kiss Cafe which will now take the step into becoming a label as well. Maraschino is already well-known for their authentic take on extremely retro 80s-scented italo and synthpop, having released several singles. One of them appeared on our Apple Turnover playlist a few months ago and there’s also a new video out for “Hi, Desire”.

Make sure you check out Durabo’s recent cover of Yoko Ono’s “Walking On Thin Ice” as well.
