At the tail-end of 2021 we wrote about Brooklyn-based artist Kaye Loggins project Time Wharp and and upcoming album. Now that album is here and it’s called Spiro World or One Must First Become Aware of the Body. On Leaving Records during the summer, it’s a genre-defying 8-track LP deep-dive into the mind of its composer. It’s instrumental, experimental, poppy, jazzy and a lot more. “Mixo World” nerd mixolydian scales while “Spiro World” refers to the prescription drug spironolactone.
