Melbourne punk band Ill Globo sadly is now more, leaving just a couple of EPs in their wake. Luckily they’ve decided to release what’s left of their catalogue as digital-only album called If the Phone Doesn’t Ring, It’s Me. Hiding beyond such a masterful title are 13 tracks played at breakneck speed, with Jake from Alien Nosejob / Aarght Records on drums. Mikey Young recorded this 20-minute burst of creative genius, and did the mixing and mastering as well. Hopefully someone will press this to a 12″ one day.
