Michael Padgett who runs the LA label The New U.S. Government also makes music as Ole Mic Odd. He’s featured on a number of compilations that we’ve written about in the past and he has released music on labels like Up North and Source Material in the past. In May there’s a new 12″ coming out on Spanish label Another Perspective. Acid Bass In Outer Space is a bass-heavy 6-track excursion into spacey electro and will be shipping in May. Padgett also self-released a compilation of odds and ends recorded with hardware only (using different aliases) back in January. Dump Truck is packed with 22 tracks and well worth checking out.
