God Is War is the name of Los Angeles-based producer Mack Chami’s industrial noise project. Having already put out a self-released album earlier this year (Master of My Realm came out in March), a new 6-track EP just appeared on UK label Opal Tapes. The cassette includes one of the tracks from the album, but the other 5 seem new. The seemingly toungue-in-cheek titles (like “Going to Shake Your Hand and Shooting You In the Face With My Left Hand”) add an element of uneasy humour to an otherwise pitch-black universe.
