You may know him using different names: Satanic Togas, Set-Top Box or as a member of groups like RRC, Gee Tee or Australian Idol – Ishka Edmeades is the centrepiece of the small punk scene in Sydney. One of his lesser known aliases is Tee Vee Repairman, but here is a proper 7″ EP finally – issued in collaboration between his own Warttmann Inc. and Urge Records. These 4 songs on Patterns are among the best I’ve heard from his pen so far, with “Lights Out!” being a real powerpop gem that could’ve come from Adam Widener or Wyatt Blair (of Zygoteens and TRMRS respectively).

Add YoursHello,My name is Lucille, I am a 13-year-old girl who absolutely loves your music.About a year ago or so our house burned down to the ground and I lost a lot of my vinyl records, posters and shirts. After the fire they rebuilt a home, but we moved all the way from Wisconsin down to Texas, where I had never even been before. It is going ok but school has been kind of a nightmare. I feel like I’m a very devoted, caring and loyal friends but the new friends I try to make don’t seem like they are like that. I even had one boy spread rumors about me to all people who knows, which was everyone because he grew up in texas. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much your music means me. Listening to your music in my room makes me the most happy. I’m sure you get letters like this all the time but I just wanted to personally say thank you. I am hoping, and no big deal if you can’t, but I was wondering if you could send me a vinyl record, merch or autograph? No big deal if you can’t… I just thought I would at least try. Just now I’m starting to go through all the stuff that survived our house fire but I did lose a lot of stuff. Not a big deal either way. I will attach a picture so you know I’m not some weirdo making this up. 🙂 anyway…. Thanks again. Here’s my address.

maybe you could try contacting them on instagram? I don’t know Ishka personally, but I feel like that may be the best channel. Hang in there!
