Hozac is back in the game big time with this debut mini-album from Glasgow’s Soursob. The trio came together from Scotland, Lithuania and Australia to record this masterpiece pre-pandemic and apparently did some gigs around too. But then they were separated by the unpredictable forces of nature (I wish it was me who was ‘forced’ to return to Australia – wanna trade identities?). The self-titled LP only holds 7 tracks, but they’re enough to rock your world in the same profound way Emily’s Sassy Lime or Skinned Teen once did. This is fuzzed out trash pop for teenage delinquents.
