Optimism Is Out to Get You is a brand new label from Croatia, helmed by Strahinja Arbutina. In September they released their very first VA compilation, and just before Christmas they gifted us the second volume OOTGY002. It features tracks from favourites like NO/ON, L.U.V. and London-based Nape (pictured). Make sure you check out Nape’s latest 7″ too. I was also blown away by “Hardtrancer” from NYC ‘hardstyle diva’ Miss Parker, as well as Japanese artist Cocoon Maiden’s mesmerising track . The compilation is available on cd, with 17 tracks all in all, spanning pumping techno to hardcore and trance.
