Psihokratja is duo from Belgrade that formed way back in the late 80s. They’ve recently reformed, making more or less the same kind of doomed darkwave they did way back in the day. Their first album was reissued by Detriti a couple of years ago and earlier this year their latest record Eight Wanderings of the Soul was released by Augsburg label Young & Cold. It does sound a bit like a lost classic, complete with the over-dramatised vocals we know from the 80s and the Italo scene in particular. It doesn’t get much more kitsch than the “Summer Night” ending with its masturbatory guitar solo.
