Fotini Kappa from Greece, now based in Holland, performs using the name Pasiphae from Greek mythology (also one of the moons of Jupiter) and is released her second EP tomorrow on Pinkman. Possessed Realms contains four tracks of dark electro with minimal synthesizer lines over the top. The title-track in particular, builds an ominous mood of palpitation. “Anodyne” is the only tracks that sounds slightly retro to my ears, with its industrial noises and tape echoes. Pasiphae has another release coming up together with Intergalactic Gary as well, on Hungarian label Dalmata Daniel.
