Cute Heels is probably one of the most prominent names in Colombian electronic music. The album on Dark Entries even got a review on Pitchfork. Victor Lenis has been based in at least Bogotá, Brussels and Berlin where he has been running his label Black Leather. Last month, their fifth compilation Idolize came out (digital only), and it includes some familiar names like T.D.D. and Panorama Lineal (check out recent post), Cute Heels of course, but also plenty of new artists from Colombia. Most impressive is probably the track from Kat Yusti, who recently got a release on the excellent Interplanetary label. She’s set to perform for this year’s (digital) Burning Man next month.
