Wetware

Wetware are Roxy Farman and Matt Morandi from Brooklyn. Together they make electronic music that indicates an influence from early noise-makers such as This Is Heat and Throbbing Gristle. Since their inception in 2015 they’ve made a couple of albums and an EP. Just like their latest effort, the new album Flail is out on Dais Records, at the end of next month. The two singles so far suggest it’ll be just as great as their previous output. With “Exaggerated Bliss” moving through an undulating pattern of noise into spoken vocals, it creates contrasting ideas of calm. “Shiny Face” is all abysmal percussion with harrowing voices.
