Pistol Peaches is a new Melbourne group influenced by riot grrrl and grunge. They first turned up last year with three- track EP. And in August this year “Sappy” came out in digital format. It’s a great single, and perhaps even better is the b-side “Bitch Fight”, with what almost sounds like a stoner rock riff. The five women in the band have enough attitude to go around – hopefully enough to get a whole album completed next year.
