Out just in time for Halloween, Heavy Lids’s new single “Dead Valentine” sounded just as great as the new Black Marble LP. There are at least three bands out there called Heavy Lids at the moment, but we’re talking about the New York-based pop/punk solo artist Tristan James here, originally from Sydney. His older stuff doesn’t seem to be on spotify anymore but you can still check it out here. This is post-punk at its best.
