Australian Idol is a new band from Sydney, who sound a little bit like Rebel Yell. Maybe not surprising because Grace Stevenson who is Rebel Yell plays keyboards in the band. Also in the group is Jake Ollett, who is perhaps most known for his amazing photographs of Australian bands. “Bags” is their first release and will be on an EP coming out on Urban Cowboy soon. The vocals on this track are by Jack De Lacy who’s also in Concrete Lawns. I love the sound – the recording was done by Felix Lush who plays in Gauci. Photo by @jennifermay666
